I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Then I bought it. I love anything written by Lucy Score. Oh Lucy! I couldn't stop crying throughout this book, but I also couldn't stop reading! What an amazing story! Amazing characters! Amazing town! Wouldn't you like to live somewhere like Hope Falls? This is a heartwarming story about a single mom,Bristol, a sister, trying to cope with the death of her beloved younger sister Hope. Bristol was instrumental in convincing her family that Hope would have wanted to be an organ donor. When Bristol's older sister Savannah breaks down at her wedding dress fitting because Hope isn't there to try on her dress, Bristol writes a letter to Hope's heart recipient inviting the person to her Savannah's wedding between Thanksgiving and Christmas so Savannah can have both her sisters present. She never hears from anyone..... A hot guy comes to town on business. His name is Beau and he helps Bristol learn to skate, play hockey, feel again, fall for him, and ......he leaves saying he'll be back! What???? Bristol is crushed, angry, spitting fire, and more! What a great holiday story that will warm your heart ❤️!!
Heart of Hope made me laugh, cry, swoon and filled my heart with joy! Beau was totally swoon worthy, Bristol was a hoot and little Violet was so adorable.
This book has all the feels and will make you realize how family is so important. Perfect book for the holidays when we’re spending a lot of time with family and friends. I give it two thumbs up!!

So I am waiting for my son while his hockey team practices at the rink and decided to read this book. Big Mistake! I was ugly crying at certain points! There were really funny points, love the town that keeps it real, and then there were tear jerking points. I had to laugh as the Italian person of my marriage at some of the points. “My mom is Italian!” I would disown my kids if they didn’t say they were Italian too... lol. This was a a great book that will make everyone select donor on their license!
This book was SO GOOD! It would be hard to tell you what this book is about without leaving spoilers, and that would be a shame because part of the beauty of this story is the many beautiful layers.
So I will just say the writing is superb, the story is full of romance, humor, warmth and family. And Hope, so full of Hope and Love. It’s one of the best dang stories ever! It will hit you in the feels and leave you smiling.
Now, Where can I get a ticket for Hope Falls? It sounds like my kind of town!
I can't say enough about this book. Lucy Score writes strong, complex, lovable characters that I can't get enough of. Bristol is tough but struggling with the grief over losing her sister. Beau has a secret. Their chemistry is off the charts. Her family is 100% the kind of family I want to spend more time with. This story is a deep one that moved me to tears of joy. I can see myself re-reading this many times and I really want to read the rest of the Hope Falls series. This small town is so easy to love.

I don't bother reading your blurbs. Nope. Not necessary. I see your name, a new book, I one-click, no second thoughts. I'm never disappointed. I'm convinced you're a witch who weaves magic spells into your story lines to hypnotize us with adoration for your lovable characters and plots. Well, it works.
Now, if THAT doesn't convince y'all to read any single thing that Lucy Score writes, then I don't know what will.
Trust me, she'll slay you too.
Loved this story!! Loved the characters, loved the town, Loved the dialogue and loved the humor the author put in the story! I have been a fan of this author and have read most of her books but this one tops the list for me. Bristol's family has gone through the heartbreak of losing the youngest daughter, Hope, and decide to donate her organs to bring meaning to the car accident that ultimately causes her death. Bristol writes a letter to the person who received Hope's heart inviting him or her to the older sisters wedding. Beau shows up in town and instantly there is a connection between them that goes deeper than Bristol knows. Through some twist and turns and lies that Beau told to Bristol and others not wanting them to find out why he has come to town, the story has a HEA. Even the secondary characters in this story add a lot to the story. Being an organ donor is a timely issue that is important and can help so many people live that would not have had the chance. Kudos to the author for writing a story about it. Highly recommend this book!!!
I'm a huge Lucy Score fan and I'd read all of her books accept this one until today. I'm not sure why I hadn't read it to be honest. It was a beautiful little story, so sweet. Also, if you're unfamiliar with Lucy Score's work - that woman is a comedy ninja. Just like her other books, this one made me chuckle )
Both H&h were easy to love and neither annoyed me (that rarely happens) even a little. Tons of other reviewers gave fantastic summaries of the story so I wont do that again here but I will give you the basics most romance readers are curious about prior to buying a book.
1.) Cheating? Of course not!
2.) Cliffhanger? Nope.
3.) HEA? Yes! This is probably one of the most amazing ending's ever!
4.) Violence? Nope. Not that sort of book.
5.) Writing/Grammar? Beautiful, Lucy is a very talented writer.
6.) Sexual content? Very light and sweet/vanilla. Very few scenes.
7.) Would I recommend this book to my friends? Yes!
8.) Premise/Trope? No real trope, just a heart (no pun intended) grabbing contemporary.
9.) Narration? Third Person
